Scissors made for cutting hair have a refined design with hollow faces, accurate ride lines & cleanly sharpened edges.
If they are not sharpened correctly then hair may fold between the two blades rather than being cleanly cut.
Thinning scissors in particular require a high standard of sharpening to work properly.

​Send Your Scissors in a box rather than a Jiffy bag and wrap them separately within the parcel so they don’t knock together.  Protect the tips of your scissors so they can’t poke through the sides of your parcel.

Online: Pay for your sharpening here by adding items to your cart and go through check out.
Pay By Invoice:  When the cost is unknown post your items to us with your contact details.  We can make an order for you and email a link to pay online. (£2 fee if under £10)

QUESTIONS

Can You Sharpen Scissors With Serrations ?
We would sharpen the serrations out and they will work fine without them.

Can I Drop My Items Off ?
Yes it is fine to drop items off rather then post them.  There is a green parcel box right of the door you can leave items in outside hours.

I’m sending My Scissors in a Case, Will You Return This ?
We will return your case and postage is not usually extra.

Will You Let Me Know When My Scissors Arrive ?
When we have received your scissors we will email you a receipt to acknowledge that we have them.  When your items are ready to collect or we have sent them back we will email to let you know.

Do You Return Items With a Tracked Service ?
We send items by Royal Mail Tracked 24.  Royal Mail will email you the tracking information, delivery due date and you can select delivery options including choose delivery date, collect from parcel point, leave with a neighbour, choose safeplace or deliver to another address.
