The grey Roseline Scissors have been around for a long time and are very popular with animal groomers. In my opinion these are very good scissors and I think reasonable priced.
They are made in Germany from high quality hard steel. Hard steel like this cuts very well when sharpened and keeps the sharp edge for a long time. These scissors don’t bend and if you try to bend them they will probably snap.
The straight Roseline scissors cut very well when sharpened properly. The thinning scissors cut well but the action is not so smooth due to a slightly imprecise not machine finished geometry.
Top points:
Always very good steel
Always consistent quality
Reasonably priced
Bad points:
Roselines have imprecise semi convex geometry making them not have the smoothest action, particularly for thinning scissors.
