How to Set Horse Clipper Tension

What is Horse Clipper Tension ??
Sets the pressure pushing your blades together.

Use the minimum needed !
Higher tension makes your clipper & blades hot.

Why do you need Higher Tension ??
(1) Blunt Blades (2) Inaccurate Sharpening (3) Sharpening Burrs

Set for Lister Clippers:
Tighten up nut all the way then back 2 or 3 full turns.

Set for Other Clippers:
Turning the nut until you feel resistance then increase approximately 1 full turn.

Blades sharpened by SL Service work with light tension putting less strain on your clipper.
