Faulty Andis ZRII Clipper

Amanda sent us her faulty ZR2 clipper which is not working after she dropped it.

Andis Pulse ZR and ZRII clipper are great clippers but the weak point is their battery.

The battery has a circuit board in it which when faulty will cut the power even when fully charged.

The battery can fail prematurely if the clipper is dropped, when the clipper is stored without charging, and also for no particular reason.

Cost to repair

  • Small clipper service – £20
  • Andis ZRII battery – £88
  • Andis drive lever – £5
  • Return post 1st signed – £5.50
  • Total – £118.50

Sorry Amanda the ZRII batteries are very expensive. We would recommend Heiniger Saphir as more reliable. 👍
