Heiniger Saphir Vs Artero Hit

Similar looking clippers, the Artero Hit costs £280 & the Heiniger Saphir around £300, which is best ?

Heiniger Saphir
Now that I know the price this is no competition. The Saphir is the best all round small animal battery clipper, with a good case, reliable motor, good blade hinge, 2 lithium batteries, nice gearing and drive lever. The Saphir is powered by the same motor Heiniger have used for years in its battery horse clippers.
The Saphir is a tough, reliable clipper and a true successor to the classic Andis AGR.

Artero Hit
The Artero a good clipper made by a company you’ve never heard of. Its basically a copy of the Saphir but all the parts are a little less refined, more expensive to replace and less widely available.

Conclusion
The Aretro is not as refined and well made as the Saphir, parts for the Saphir are cheaper and more available and Heiniger’s greater experience as a manufacturer show. However the Artero does work well, its just not as nice as the Saphir.
